Leather. brn leather, gold-stamped decorations between raised bands, brn leather label w/gold-stamped titles. very professional rebacking w/original spine reattached. some wear to board at top & at crnrs, red stain at all edges, what appears to be dime size burn just into top pgs around the middle of the bk pg 50 through 88. hand-written notes throughout margins, more so at front of book, crackling on original leather boards, bk very tight, beautiful marbled papers in red, yellow & blue. no foxing. remarkably good condition for its age.
