Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas signed 1st edition

$3,000.00

Hardback (stated) first edition of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, signed by Hunter S Thompson. Apparently he started to sign his name in black ink and got as far as “Hunter S T.” Then, in red ink, he wrote “get a decent pen” and signed his name again (in landscape orientation). Dust jacket is in very good condition, with minimal wear and subtle yellowing. There are two brown stains at the head of the book. The larger of the two stains bleeds down into the affected pages a few millimeters. There are a few small brown stains on the Steadman illustrated title pages. See photos.
